What is Sustainable Fashion

First, I want to point out that this definition describes more sustainable fashion because, as a whole, the fashion industry relies on fast consumption. Which makes the entire industry not exactly sustainably friendly.

5 Easy Ways to Reduce Your Clothing Carbon Footprint

I was very unhappy with my wardrobe. That is when I cleared out everything my closet, Marie Kondo style, and sold/donated anything that didn’t bring me joy. And then I was left with almost nothing. I’m not even exaggerating. Around this same time I watched The True Cost documentary on Netflix and my life was forever changed. My Current Obsessions

It has been way too long since I have posted anything on the blog. At the beginning of the new year I promised myself that I would keep a regular blog schedule, but then life happened. It has already been a crazy year and it is flying by. I cannot believe that it is the middle of March, but I think that I say that almost monthly. My Favorite Things... This Week

So what can you look forward to during this weekly blog post? Anything & everything from books to clothes to food to whatever it is that has piqued my interest this week. Mostly, I want to share with you anything that has made my life better, easier or has entertained me over the past 7 days.

So how did tweed become mainstream?: The royals, obviously! There’s not enough time to get started on my love for all things royal family, but I was not surprised when I read that Prince Albert turned tweed fashionable in 1848. When Prince Albert purchased Balmoral in Scotland he designed the very first Estate Tweed, which is similar to Scottish Clan Tartans.
